Using Rakaat

• Rakaat is provided for personal, lawful use as a prayer companion.
• You are responsible for how you use the app and your device settings.
• We may improve, change, or update features over time.

Prayer Time Guidance

• Prayer times are calculated based on your selected calculation method, madhab, and location data.
• Prayer time calculations are powered by the open-source Adhan library by batoulapps.
• Results may vary depending on location precision, timezone, and your selected settings.
• When needed, you should verify times with your local mosque or trusted authority.

Apple Home and Shortcuts Integration

• Rakaat provides optional features to integrate with Apple Home (HomeKit) and Siri Shortcuts to trigger scenes or actions based on prayer times.
• These automations are executed locally on your device or Apple Home Hub. We are not responsible for the execution, reliability, or physical consequences of any automations triggered in your physical environment (e.g., smart lighting, thermostats, or appliances).
• It is your sole responsibility to ensure that your Home routines and connected devices operate safely and securely.

Subscriptions and Billing

• Rakaat offers two auto-renewing subscriptions through the Apple App Store:
• Monthly Subscription, billed every 1 month.
• Yearly Subscription, billed every 1 year.
• Yearly Subscription supports Family Sharing, so eligible members of your Apple Family group can access the subscription under one annual purchase when configured through Apple.
• Monthly Subscription and Yearly Subscription may each include a 7-day free trial for eligible users. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the applicable free trial, the subscription renews as a paid subscription for the selected plan.
• The price of each subscription is shown in the purchase flow before you complete payment. Prices may vary by region, currency, and applicable taxes.
• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase, or after any applicable free trial period ends.
• Your subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store account settings after purchase.
• Any unused portion of a free trial, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
• Purchases, billing, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and Family Sharing eligibility are processed by Apple under your Apple ID and applicable App Store terms and policies.

Data and Availability

• Rakaat is local-first and may optionally sync through iCloud when enabled by you.
• Some features depend on Apple services, device permissions, or internet availability.
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of all services at all times.

Disclaimer and Liability

• Rakaat is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
• These Terms of Use do not limit any rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

Changes and Contact

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Continued use of Rakaat after an update means you accept the revised terms.
